Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer Neil Bradley issued the following statement after the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit issued its decision on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program:

“Today’s decision and the uncertain future now confronting thousands of our neighbors reinforces the fact that it is long past time for Congress to provide Dreamers with the ability to live and work in the U.S. free from the threat of deportation. These individuals were brought to this country as young children, were educated here, they’re valued employees at the businesses where they work, and they contribute greatly to their local communities in so many ways.”
