On October 20th, the U.S.-Argentina Business Council hosted the U.S.-Argentina Business Dialogue on Information Communication Technology (ICT). The meeting featured U.S. and Argentine government officials from the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of State, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, National Security Council, and Argentina's Secretariat of Public Innovation for a discussion on cybersecurity, ICT priorities for Argentina, cloud computing and data centers, best practices for internet governance, and the knowledge and digital economy.
This roundtable, preceded a government to government dialogue on bilateral cooperation on ICT. Private sector representatives were able to provide best practices, discuss challenges and opportunities, and highlight their companies' role in the ICT space
