Innovations in air and space are creating unprecedented opportunities for connection. From high-speed air travel and local air taxi services to global satellite internet, these technologies provide massive opportunities for businesses and the public.

But to advance these technologies, industry and government must work in partnership to meet today’s challenges. Here’s everything you need to know about the Global Aerospace Summit.

What is the Global Aerospace Summit?

The Global Aerospace Summit is a premier event in the space and aviation industries, bringing together government leaders and industry experts from across the world to discuss the latest developments, trends, challenges, and opportunities in both aviation and space.

Why is this event important for the business community?

“This year’s theme is Innovating the Skies, Connecting the World. Under that overarching banner we are excited to feature companies across the aerospace industries that are bringing technologies to industry and government customers," says U.S. Chamber VP of Cyber Policy and Operations Vincent Voci.

“For our public sector partners, from members of congress and their staff to executive branch, we invite you to join us at this year’s Global Aerospace Summit. Our summit is THE event for you to come and meet with innovators, entrepreneurs, and explore partnerships to strengthen national security and U.S. leadership in the aerospace industry.”

Join Us

Don't miss your chance to network and learn from the biggest names and top experts in the aerospace industry. Our two-day Global Aerospace Summit is the premier space and aviation event, with international participation, collaborative in-person conversations, and robust discussions about the challenges and opportunities ahead.

With the FAA’s authorization expiring, it is a critical time for aviation industry leaders to meet with policy leaders and discuss priorities for reauthorization, including accelerating U.S. leadership in aviation, infrastructure resilience, workforce development, and defense innovation.

As the private sector rapidly develops new capabilities in air travel and space commercialization to propel America forward, business leaders and government officials will need to collaborate early and often on effective policies and regulation.

The two-day Summit provides ample opportunities for business and government leaders to connect, collaborate, and share ideas on the future of the air and space industries.

What is the U.S. Chamber’s role?

For the past two decades, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has convened the Global Aerospace Summit, which has become a key event in the air, space, and defense industries for CEOs, government officials, and international innovators to gather and exchange insights. Airbus and RTX will join us as Presenting Sponsors for the Summit.

What’s on the agenda?

  • Resilience and adaptability: The aerospace industry's resilience as it navigates a complex web of challenges, from global pandemics and supply chain stressors to inflation and shifting macroeconomic dynamics. Despite these hurdles, the industry displays adaptability in the face of adversity, as evidenced by its response to surging passenger demand, demonstrating its capacity to weather multifaceted disruptions and continue its trajectory of growth.
  • Geopolitical implications: Impact of geopolitical events and national security events, including Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine and the Great Power competition with China.
  • U.S. leadership: The U.S. has long been a global frontrunner in the aerospace industry, boasting a rich history of technological innovation and groundbreaking achievements. From pioneering moon landings to pushing the boundaries of commercial aviation and space exploration, the U.S. continues to shape the trajectory of aerospace advancements worldwide.
  • Sustainability: The aerospace industry is steadfastly propelling toward a greener future, embracing sustainable aviation fuels and investing in advanced engine and airframe designs for enhanced efficiency. With a resolute commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, alongside initiatives to ensure a debris-free and sustainable orbital environment, the industry is charting a course that balances technological innovation with environmental responsibility.
  • Congressional affairs: There are discussions in both the House and Senate on FAA authorization, but a recent number of Congressional appropriations including IIJA, IRA, Chips and Science, and Ukraine Supplementals will have an impact on the aerospace industry.
