Fill me in: On February 15, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce celebrated the third annual Shared Purpose Awards. During the event, we honored 36 colleagues who embody our values of commitment, accountability, partnership, and integrity.
What happened?: The annual Shared Purpose Awards event is our opportunity to reflect on all of the incredible work from the past year and to shine a light on our employees who help bring our Shared Purpose to life by embodying these four core values in all that they do.
After being nominated by colleagues, all 36 nominations are shared with a committee of U.S. Chamber leaders representing a broad cross-section of the organization and the nominees are evaluated on a variety of levels. The committee votes on the nominations and the executive leadership team choses the four winners.
This year, the four employees who were recognized for their commitment to the U.S. Chamber’s shared values and won a Shared Purpose Award are:
- Lindsay Cates: Accountability
- Kelsey Margey: Commitment
- Sidhanta Mehra: Integrity
- Pamela Wilson: Partnership
A sincere, whole-hearted congratulations to all of the winners and nominees!
Our take: Businesses need the right regulatory environment, trade agenda, legal system, workforce policies, and rules for the modern economy in order to drive the growth that will lift our country. At the U.S. Chamber, our job is to help them get it.
The Shared Purpose Awards highlight the values that help us work together as a team to accomplish this great and worthy mission.
