WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced today that former Senate staffer Chanse Jones has joined the communications department as Senior Manager of Media Relations and External Communications.
“Chanse joins our team with a strong background in local and state politics, and a proven track record of messaging policies that affect every day Americans. As a communicator in both large and small campaigns, he will help the Chamber build bipartisan solutions for Main Streets across the country. Championing American workers and entrepreneurs is a core value of the Chamber, and with the addition of Chanse, our team will continue to advocate for issues that matter most to the business community,” said Michelle Russo, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Chief Communications Officer.
Jones joins the Chamber following four years in the office of U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) where he held various communication roles, including Deputy Communications Director. Before his time in the Senate, Chanse served in the U.S. House of Representatives and on a number of political campaigns. A Mississippi native, Chanse earned a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Alabama.
