NCLC files amicus brief addressing medical monitoring absent present physical injury

NCLC urged the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to hold that Massachusetts law does not recognize medical monitoring claims where there is no present physical injury. NCLC argued that permitting such medical monitoring claims would radically alter the state’s existing tort laws and foster widespread litigation with potentially unchecked liability.
