WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Glenn Spencer, Senior Vice President of Employment Policy Division at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections (PUMP) for Nursing Mothers Act:
“The Chamber applauds the House for passing the PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act that will help keep women in the workforce at a time when all employers are struggling to find workers. We will work to ensure that the legislation includes an exemption to address the unique needs of the airline industry and look forward to the passage of the bill in the Senate.”
