All Americans should have the opportunity to earn their success, rise on their merit, and live their own American Dream. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Equality of Opportunity Initiative unites the business community around private and public sector solutions to some of the underlying challenges driving inequality of opportunity for Black Americans and other people of color in six critical areas: education, employment, entrepreneurship, criminal justice, health, and wealth.
On Wednesday, June 23, 2021, the U.S. Chamber hosted its second annual National Summit on Equality of Opportunity, with the theme "Moving from Conversations to Real Action." During the event, leaders across the private and public sectors discussed challenges, shared successes, highlighted best practices, and charted paths forward to ensure equality of opportunity for all.
