Mission
Our mission is to foster a robust economic relationship between the U.S. and Colombia by exploring issues that hinder the commercial relationship and proposing solutions to them, advancing trade and investment opportunities for USCBC members, and supporting economic growth in Colombia and the United States, particularly through post-conflict initiatives.
Our Members
USCBC members span a diverse array of sectors such as agriculture, banking and financial services, consumer goods, defense, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and technology. Representing the largest U.S. investors in Colombia, our companies vary from medium to large enterprises. They share a unified commitment to enhancing the commercial bilateral relationship and fostering continued investment in Colombia.
How We Are Different
The USCBC, with its strategic presence in Washington and Bogota, plays a pivotal role in advocating for private sector interests before both the Colombian and U.S. governments. The Council actively engages with the Colombian Congress and local governments to promote policies that enhance bilateral commercial relationships. Recognized for its ability to convene stakeholders, the USCBC places significant emphasis on collaboration, working closely with other trade associations to unify and strengthen advocacy efforts. This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive representation of business interests, fostering an environment conducive to economic growth and investment in both nations.
